I will give you honest answers to some personal life questions, my feelings and thoughts.
Lapoint – one of the bigger surf camp chains (if you want to call it like this) offer a unique surf experience in Ahangama, Sri Lanka. (+ in Bali, Costa Rica, Morocco, Portugal and Norway – WOW!) As I myself like to read reviews before booking an accommodation – especially when speaking of a surf camp where so many different factors are important – here is mine from my one-week stay at the Beach Villa at the Lapoint in Sri Lanka.
We all know it, the excitement when planning the next trip. When we try to find the loveliest, cheapest or just best located accommodations, the must sees and of course, how to get from one point to another. Bus, train, plane, rent a car, take a driver, a taxi or a tuc tuc? There are so many opportunities and ways to travel a country. Some are more comfortable, some are cheaper. In the end you have to weigh up the pros and cons and take what best fits your preferences
There are so many opportunities – and the options are getting more and more each day – of where to spend the nights while traveling. Hotels, private flats or houses via Airbnb or housesitting, camping, guesthouses, apartments and of course – hostels. This post however focuses on the hostels out there around the world and what speaks for and what against staying at a Hostel. In the end it is your own decision, but it is my opinion to at least give everything a try 🙂
Galle and Hikkaduwa are some of the “must sees” when visiting Sri Lanka. At least that’s what you are told in almost every tourist guide.
