Lapoint – one of the bigger surf camp chains (if you want to call it like this) offer a unique surf experience in Ahangama, Sri Lanka. (+ in Bali, Costa Rica, Morocco, Portugal and Norway – WOW!) As I myself like to read reviews before booking an accommodation – especially when speaking of a surf camp where so many different factors are important – here is mine from my one-week stay at the Beach Villa at the Lapoint in Sri Lanka.
We all know it, the excitement when planning the next trip. When we try to find the loveliest, cheapest or just best located accommodations, the must sees and of course, how to get from one point to another. Bus, train, plane, rent a car, take a driver, a taxi or a tuc tuc? There are so many opportunities and ways to travel a country. Some are more comfortable, some are cheaper. In the end you have to weigh up the pros and cons and take what best fits your preferences and wishes.

But when reading about the One World Foundation I then decided to stay for 2 nights. What convinced me though? It was the idea behind OWF. Read more “One world foundation, Sri Lanka “
When I got off the bus in Mirissa I somehow had the feeling that I would change my reservation and leave this place immediately as it was way more touristic than I expected it to be. After one night in my dorm room at the Hangover Hostel I decided to at least give it a try, and to make some plans what to do nearby.
