.. do more of what makes me happy 🙂 As New York is one of those cities you can never get enough of, I am sure I will come back and see and discover even more, than I have done the last time.
When I was in New York in November 2015, I tried to do and see as much as possible. But I also enjoyed my time there and just went around, letting myself get lost and discover the area on my own. To me it is important, that I am not constantly searching for the next attraction. These are the days I like most. I prefer to travel, not to be a tourist 🙂
Wait! To have the ultimate walking-sight seeing tour of New York start with the first part, because this is the “second part” of the day. You haven´t read Part 1? Here you find it 🙂 So if you just have one day do discover that impressive city, here is how you make most out of it.
This time I will show you how to get the most out of just one day in New York. If you have the time to have a layover in New York or you might be in town for a business trip and get a few hours free time, go out there and take a walk! If you follow this route – you will see a lot of this City that never sleeps just within a few hours time.
As promised I will give you an overview of where I had brunch, lunch and dinner. PLUS: I added some insider tips of fancy food-places, which my friend Anna, who I visited in New York, would recommend! Leave your personal “yummy-places of New York” in the comments!
As I almost got lost in the metro at the beginning I would like to give you a short overview of how you easily find your way through the New Yorker underground and get wherever you want – especially when it is your first time in New York.
New York, New York – a city so nice, they named it twice. And there is even more to see and to do than you can ever imagine. Never could I imagine how big this city really is, until I went there for a 10 days trip. And of course I wanted to do it all, but there are several reasons, why this is simply not possible.
